CDA Implementation Guides
We have a comment on the implementation of CP-eHealthDSI-025: Allow the use of ''Original Text'' element to clarify the nationally used unit:
As indicated directly in the title of the CP, the intention was to clarify the used unit. The implementation has been aligned with the CP intention when it comes to the ingredient strength data. However, in template https://art-decor.ehdsi.eu/art-decor/decor-templates-epsos?id=2.16.840.1.113883.3.1937.777.11.10.143&effectiveDate=dynamic manufacturedMaterial.asContent.containerPackagedMedicine.capacityQuantity the CDA implementation guide suggests that the whole description of the packaging such as “packets each containing 21 tables of A and 7 tables of B” could be placed under the Original Text element. We consider this was not the intention of the CP, and Original Text should only be used for clarifying the unit (“tablets” in this example).
