Description
Finding:

- From the expand specification, we find in R1.10.8 the following definition.
This is not reflected in the current version of the CDA IGs.

Suggestion:

- Since the nullFlavor attribute shall have a value of "NI" in the case of a nullFlavor, a textual constraint can be added as guidance for the implementer.

No hard constraint will be added that will fail the document validation when another nullFlavor value is used than “NI”.

Further explanation:

- Issue also needs to be fixed for the eHDSI Author Prescriber template
