- Spec uses Medicine (as in Medicine Entry Content Module) , ART DECOR uses epSOS CDA ManufacturedProduct
Suggestion:
- change name to Medicine
-
- both, in Spec and here it says: substanceAdministratio in first paragraph Suggestion:
- Spec uses classCode=GEN, ART DECOR uses GRIC - which one is correct?
- check and correct, accordingly (problem for CTHON?)
- In The Word document, I did not find the asSpecializedKind Item in the tabular description of Medication Summary (R19.xxx)
- Should it be added there?
The 1.3.6.1.4.1.12559.11.10.1.3.1.3.1 template is used in different contexts using different constrains, specialized templates are therefore needed .
Define different templates -as specialization of the 1.3.6.1.4.1.12559.11.10.1.3.1.3.1 - to be used for PS , eP and eD
manufacturedProduct/manufacturedMaterial/code has no value set bindings defined (remove binding with MaterialEntityClassType)
the manufacturedProduct/manufacturedMaterial/epsos:asSpecializedKind/epsos:generalizedMedicineClass/epsos:name has to be added as optional element
Add the ingredient/[@classCode='ACTI']/ingredient/code element.
Required (Not mandatory)
Add also the voc binding to epSOSActiveingredient
- cardinality of manufacturedProduct must be less or equal 1
- Changed to 0...1
- Test : CDATEMP005(Validation Level : FLATTEN_4 , Type : ERROR) Location : //rules/template[14]/element[1]/element[16]/element[1] CDALocation : /hl7:substanceAdministration[hl7:templateId/@root='1.3.6.1.4.1.12559.11.10.1.3.1.3.2']/hl7:consumable/hl7:manufacturedProduct Description : The maximum multiplicity SHALL be lower or equals to the maximum multiplicity from the CDA model [CDATEMP-005]
Following description for the epsos:activeIngredient is wrong: “In case of multi active ingredients medicinal product the first ingredient element is used for describing the the ATC code associated to the medicinal product, each single active ingredients and related strengths are instead conveyed using the subIngredient elements" Comment from Konstantin HYPPÖNEN: My understanding is that the ATC code should be placed in this case exclusively in the epsos:asSpecializedKind/epsos:generalizedMedicineClass/epsos:code element. Ingredients MAY in some cases be identified through their ATC codes (although the ATC code system has not been designed for this) but then it should be possible not only for the first ingredient.
- From the discussion with dr. Christof Gessner: If we look into the expand documentation, we noticed that the formCode has to have cardinality 1 .. 1 and conformance R for ePrescription and eDispensation. However, for PatientSummary, the formCode has to have cardinality 0 .. 1 and be optional. Since this template is reused in all document templates (eP, eD, PS) we should make the element optional. This won't have any impact on the document validation, since eP/eD messages will still be valid (there is just the relaxation of the constraint)
- Make the element optional.
- In ART-DECOR, we have two attribute values defined for the upper epsos:ingredient element: @classCode and @determinerCode with both fixed values. But when we add these attributes as defined in ART-DECOR, we have XSD schema validation errors. The @determinerCode should be removed from ART-DECOR (this is also in line with the EXPAND documentation)
- Remove the @determinerCode attribute with it's fixed value from the epsos:ingredient element
- Since the "asContent" part is a CDA-extension based on IHE Pharmacy profiles, we would suggest to add the description of the IHE Pharmacy profiles to the CDA IGs. This question was raised in the cda-document channel in slack. And by adding a description, it'll be only more clear for other people in the future. Contents in the IHE Pharmacy profile:
"In case the package describes a product, and the package has a brand name, it SHOULD be described in the <pharm:name> element (e.g., Xylocaine 1% with Adrenaline Inj, 5 injections package)."
According to Marta it is very uncommon that a package has a brand name, but in certain cases it could be the case (she mentioned the example of "Turbohaler").
