- In the current CDA IGs, the doseQuantity requires both the low and high subelements to be present.
When the doseQuantity is no range, the low and the high contain the same value, which might be confusing. It should also be possible to define the doseQuantity as:
<doseQuantity value="1" unit="{tablet}"/>
First it needs to be presented and agreed in the STF Arch WG Link to JIRA issue: https://citnet.tech.ec.europa.eu/CITnet/jira/browse/EHEALTH-9648

- This issue was reported by Spain:
After reviewing Wave 6 ePrescription DisplayTool (v6.2.0) regarding substitution, a small discrepancy between Art-Decor and the CDA Display Tool was found.
In DisplayTool, it is being checked that it is always coming “inversionInd=true” (epPrescriptionItem.xsl):
However, in ArtDecor 6.5.0 (https://art-decor.ehdsi.eu/publication/epSOS/epsos-html-20230118T153212/tmp-1.3.6.1.4.1.12559.11.10.1.3.1.3.2-2022-12-13T144456.html) this property is missing:
The CDA IGs need to be modified to add this attribute as a fixed one. JIRA Link: https://citnet.tech.ec.europa.eu/CITnet/jira/browse/EHEALTH-9744
- The substitution logic description is not aligned with the implementation:
https://art-decor.ehdsi.eu/html/publication/epSOS/epsos-html-20230118T153212/tmp-1.3.6.1.4.1.12559.11.10.1.3.1.3.2-2022-12-13T144456.html
This text: Within the epSOS-I scope the “N” code shall be interpreted as No substitution allowed excepting for the Package Size.
The presence of any other code that is not “N”, or the absence of the substitution instructions, means that also the brand name (as well as the Package Size) can be changed.
The implemented logic is:Substitution No -> only brand name can be modified.Substitution Yes -> brand name, package size and number of packages can be modified.
This must be reflected in the description. Suggestion by the eP Cluster:
